Grass-Fed Beef

All our beef is 100% grass-fed. During the grazing season, we move our cows once or twice a day to fresh pasture ensuring that they are getting the best forage we can provide for them. The cows spend the winter relaxing and eating local hay. All our cows are Milking Shorthorn/Milking Devon/Red Devon crosses. These breeds were the first to arrive in New England and are prized for their ability to produce well marbled beef on pasture alone.

We sell our beef by the individual cut in addition to the occasional half/whole animal. If you are interested in being put on the waiting list for a half/whole beef animal send us an email at sparkplugfarm@gmail.com.

By rotating our animals we ensure they are eating the freshest, most nutrient dense forage they can. This management intensive style of animal care can be fully appreciated in the high quality meat we sell.
